Teenager in the House!!
Where have the years gone? My seven pound little baby boy somehow has grown to be as tall as me - and a teenager to boot! Austin is a hardworking, curious, always inventing, eager to help others, constantly questioning, deer hunting, quick tempered, outdoor loving, school tolerating, wicked smart young man. I am so glad that God chose me to be his Momma. Happy 13th Birthday Austin!
Austin got together with some friends to play paintball for his birthday. Here they are getting ready for the first battle.

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving everybody! We have so much to be thankful for this year (and every day)!Thank you Jesus for the many blessings you allow me to enjoy - that we both know I don't deserve! The whole gang was together this year, and we ate WAY too much, as usual. It was a beautiful day, so the kids were able to play outside. No pics of that - they'd had enough posing for these pics!

Veterans Day Program
Carlisle Elementary had a Veterans Day Program today to honor the veterans in our community. Sara invited her Papaw to the program. He is an army veteran and earned a Purple Heart during his service.

Thanks to all veterans for everything you have done and continue to do for all of us!!
Happy Veterans Day!

Redneck Recreation
Our kids have always been pretty good at keeping themselves entertained. Austin is a born inventor, and is always building something. His latest project started out as a simple fiberglass race car roof that he attached to his four-wheeler. Then he upgraded it to include a "roll cage", backrest, headrest, and detachable roof. Fun times!!
Final Adjustments!
Ready to ride
Here we go!

Beautiful Sunday
Today seemed more like spring than November. Dewayne and Austin were out scouting new hunting spots. Sara and I were dressed more for an afternoon nap, than a photo shoot. But, we decided to take advantage of the pretty day, and get out and take some pictures. I got a nice new camera for my birthday (thanks to my wonderful husband, kids, and parents) but haven't gotten a chance to try it out too much until today. I think they turned out pretty good!
